How to connect webmail to Gmail
Having trouble with webmail? No worries! You can utilize the Gmail platform to both send and receive emails through your domain’s email account. All you have to do is set up your domain’s email address as a POP3 and SMTP account within Gmail. Gmail can be used as an email tool. This guide will assist you in setting up your webmail on Gmail.
Step 01:
Log in to Gmail.
Step 02:
Click on the setting icon in the right-top corner.
Step 03:
Click on the “See all settings” button at the newly opened tab on the right side.
Step 04:
Click on the “Accounts and Import” tab.
Step 05:
Click on the “Add a mail account” link.
Step 06:
Enter your email address and Click the Next button.
Step 07:
Select the “Import emails from my other account (POP3)” option and Click the Next button.
How to find webmail configuration details?
Step 08:
You need to follow the steps below to collect your email POP server and port to complete Step 9.
Step 8.1:
Login to CPanel and Click “Email Accounts”.
Step 8.2:
Click on the “Connect Devices” button.
Step 8.3:
Scroll down and find “Mail Client Manual Settings”, then you will find the Mail Server address, SMTP Port and POP3 Port
According to my example:
- POP3 Server (Incoming Server): morgana.webserverlive.com
- POP3 Port: 995
- SMTP Server (Outgoing Server): morgana.webserverlive.com
- SMTP Port: 465
Step 09:
Now go back to your Gmail and open the “Add a mail account window”.
Enter the email address for the Username field.
Enter Password.
Enter the POP3 Server Address and select the correct POP3 Port, that you collected from Step 8.
Select “Always use a secure connection (SSL) when retrieving mail.” Option and Click the “Add Account” button.
Step 10:
If the given details are correct, it will “Your mail account has been added” message on top of the window. Select the “Yes, I want to be able to send mail as [you-email].” option, then Click on the Next button.
Step 11:
Enter the Display name for email to the “Name” field and tick the “Treat as an alias.” option.
Then click the “Next Steps” button.
Step 12:
Now you want to set “Send mail” configurations
Enter the SMTP Server address and select the correct SMTP Port, those collected from step 8.
Enter the email address for the Username field and enter the Password.
Select the “Secured connection using TLS” option.
After that click the “Add Account” button.
Step 13:
Then you need to enter and Verify the confirmation code, that was sent to your new webmail.
Step 14:
Now you have successfully added your new email to your Gmail account.
Also, you can select reply mail and default mail.
Step 15:
Now you can send email using your new webmail account via Gmail.
